Yup, it's all go at the moment!
We spent the weekend down in Kent with Michael's brother and finace and had a lovely time. We usually use the weekend to tidy up the house, so as a result of not being here it is a totaly mess! I really don't like it when it gets like this, I can't seem to do anything in an untidy house so yesterday evening was spent cleaning and tidying - fun!
I have to get my job preferences in by Thursday, so today I'm busy doing that - it's not easy to get 150 odd jobs into some kind of order!
I'm also hoping to get some craft time later today - I have ATCs to finish off for my team on UKS, this is the first time I've done them but I've enjoyed it!
Have you seen the Design Collective? It looks like it's going to be great!

Allergies
Yesterday I had my latest appointment with the chest clinic - this time last year I went to my GP for a repeat prescription and mentioned that I'd had a bit of a cough for a while, nothing that bothered me a lot, just didn't seem to be shifting. Since then I've had numerous x-rays, CT scans of my chest and sinuses, a heart ultrasound scan, lung function tests, loads of blood tests and asthma challenges!
The only things that have come back with anything relevant are the blood tests, whcih basically show that I'm really really allergic! Now, I know I get hayfever, but the consultant was really quite concerned and last time I saw her (in July!) she sent me off with loads of drugs, just in case I needed them and a few adrenaline inkections in case I had any anaphylactic shock!
So yesterday she said that I was a very interesting case, which in doctr speak i know means "we aren't quite sure about you". The blood results are way off the scale, what should be less than 100 is over 100,000. So in a couple of weeks off I go to a specialist joint clinic where 2 consultants will see me for about an hour, to discuss whether I'm a candidate for a new drug that will desensitise my allergic state!
It feels like it's a bit ridiculous, seeing as i only mentioned it to my GP as I was there! Still, at least I'm getting a thorough checking over!

Create
Yup, my first scrapagogo kit arrived on friday and it's beautiful! The Bo Bunny papers are lovely and perfect for valentines! I could quite easily have just sat and stared at the kit contents, but thats hardly the point of buying a kit is it?! So here is the first LO that I've done with it. The Bazzill bling cardstock is very pretty, all shiny and, well, blingy! Michael wrote the journalling for me - the A-Z of Jen! I love that it's a bit of a joint effort, and that my scrapbooks now include a page letting people know what i'm like, but from a perspective other than my own.
I also had a go at the weekly challenge on UKS, which I haven't done for ages! This weeks was designed to be do-able by everyone though, so I though why not! The challnge was to do a page on a love theme, using at least 4 different patterned paper scraps and to include hearts. I came up with the LO below, which is really simple but I like it!

Scrapagogo
Today I've caved in a taken out a subscription to Scrapagogo's monthly kits. I've been debating it for ages, as they are really gorgeous! My first one will be the March kit, I can't wait, I'm so excited!
I managed to find a bit of time to scrap yesterday and did this page of me and Sarah in the Stanley hotel, Nairobi. We stayed there for our last night in Kenya and it was total luxury! We did really well too, having one night, but actually spending almost 2 days there as we checked in at 9:30am and got a late checkout - 12.00 the next day. Then we were able to use the facilities all day as our flight wasn't until 10pm. We spent the day lounging by the pool, using the sauna and steam room, and relaxing in the bar. Breakfast was an amazing buffet, we spent over an hour trying to fit in as much as we could!

Snow!
But not a lot :(
Woke up this morning to a flurry of texts from friends and family exclaiming at the amount of snowfall they had had, looked out the window and......nothing! Not even a frost!
It did start snowing at about 10 this morning, and has continued throughout the day, settling at first but now it is just wet! I only hope it doesn't freeze overnight as it will be really icy tomorrow if it does.

Jobs!
Last week our jobs came through ove the internet - I was so so nervous as I clicked on the page, but I'm allocated to East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire) which was my first choice, yay! I was really worried as we could have ended up anywhere in the country, but this area is perfect as it is nice and close to home, making it easier to keep in touch and for wedding planning, but not right on the doorstep!
The next stage is choosing specific jobs, and I will find out at the end of March exactly what 3 jobs I'll be doing during my first year, and which hospitals they will be in. Then we can start looking for somewhere to live! It is all so exciting!! (scary too - i'm actually going to be working as a dr!!!)
We had a lovely weekend at home, it is always so relaxing, but i don't enjoy the 4 hour drive much! On sunday we went to a wedding fair and it was very useful as we have now booked our photographer, who is doing a very good all-inclusive package, including all the images taken copyright free in high res on a cd, which was exactly what i wanted!
