CHA is coming!

I love this time of year - so many gorgeous new products to oogle!
So far I am finding a few things that catch my eye - first up, american crafts. I always like their bold designs, and I am liking the retro feel of 'Abode', plus it features cute polka dots, yay!

Okay, so this next one might just become my favourite ever product - textured woodgrain cardstock! Yum yum and yum! The other patterns are pretty cute too :)

Learn to Sew part 1

My mission for this year is to learn a little about sewing. I really want to make a quilt, but I thought I'd start with something a little smaller!
This little chappie is a lot smaller, but for my very first project, I am chuffed with him. Yup, he's not perfect, and a little scruffy round the edges, but I like him!
Unfortunately the kittens have decided he shall be their play toy, so he has to sit high up on top of the shelves lol!

So I have done some scrapping already this year, but I can't share any of it yet as it's hush hush lol!
Instead, I'll catch up on some layouts of last year that I haven't put on here yet.
Don't you just love that yellow polka paper - definately one of my favourites of 2009!
